01Acceptance
By creating an account, submitting a brief, or accepting an offer, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't create an account. Significant updates to the Terms are emailed to active accounts at least 30 days before they take effect.
02What we do
CatinTech designs, builds, deploys, and (optionally) hosts websites and web platforms. We work on a fixed-price basis in EUR, with milestone-based payments through Stripe.
The exact scope is captured in each offer you accept and forms a binding agreement between you and CatinTech. Offers are valid for the period stated in the offer and expire automatically if not accepted.
03Accounts and security
- You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for any activity on your account.
- You must use a real email address and provide accurate information when ordering paid services.
- You may not use the platform to break the law, infringe someone else's rights, or send unsolicited messages.
04Fees, invoicing and milestones
All prices are in EUR and exclude VAT — we are not VAT-registered. The number on the offer is the number you pay.
Project work is split across three milestones: 30% deposit on acceptance, 40% at demo approval, and 30% at final approval. Subscriptions (hosting, email, domain) renew monthly until cancelled.
Stripe invoices are issued automatically when a milestone fires. Late payment (more than 14 days past invoice) may pause deliverables; you'll be notified before that happens.
05Scope changes
We absorb minor tweaks under one hour. Anything bigger needs a written change order (sent inside your client portal) stating the extra cost, extra time, and your explicit acceptance. Nothing changes silently.
06Intellectual property and source code
On final payment, you own the source code, design files and any commissioned assets outright, with no ongoing licence obligation back to CatinTech.
Generic infrastructure code, internal libraries we re-use across clients, and third-party open-source components remain under their existing licences. That doesn't affect your ability to host, modify and ship your project.
We may showcase the finished project on our portfolio unless you opt out in writing before launch.
07Refunds and cancellation
Refund handling at each milestone is described in detail on the Refund policy. In short: before kickoff you can walk away with a full deposit refund minus card fees; after demo approval, milestones 1 and 2 are non-refundable.
08Support and SLAs
Every account gets first-response inside one business day on every ticket. Hosting subscribers additionally benefit from a contractual uptime SLA and severity-based response times; see the SLA for the numbers.
09Data and confidentiality
We treat the content of your brief, your tickets and your platform data as confidential. We process personal data per the Privacy policy and, where we host end-user data, per the DPA.
10Uptime, maintenance and disclaimers
We use industry-standard infrastructure, but no service is 100% available. Hosting subscribers get a contractual SLA with credits when we miss it; one-off projects are delivered “as is” after handover.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CatinTech disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
11Liability cap
Subject to the paragraph above, CatinTech's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms is capped at the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event that gave rise to the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.
12Termination
You can cancel a subscription at any time inside your client portal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms after giving you a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue, except where the breach is severe (e.g. illegal content or repeated abuse).
13Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of the EU Member State where CatinTech is established. Disputes go to the courts of that seat, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under your home jurisdiction.
